ACCLAIMED JAZZ TRIO
"THE JACOBS BROTHERS"
The trio is composed of bassist
Chuck Jacobs guitarist Randy Dorman, and Trumpeter Dan Jacobs. Chuck
& Randy are veterans of over 25 years performing on the world stage
with superstar Kenny Rogers, and Dan a noted Los Angeles jazz
recording artist.
The Jacobs Brothers group is a contemporary
jazz group that combines the pure love of the "cool jazz" of
trumpeters Miles Davis & Chet Baker, and smoothness of legendary
guitarist Joe Pass with the modern energy of pop styles to provide
the listener with a unique musical experience that leaves them
always wanting more.
The group has recorded four CDs, "Jazz Standard Time," "Blue After
Hours," "No Boundaries" and "Lullaby of Birdland" which have
received popular and critical acclaim from: Jazz Improv Magazine,
20th Century Guitar, The London Jazz Journal, JazzReview.com, and
jazz radio stations throughout the United States, Brazil, Australia,
Russia, Europe, and the UK.
In addition to their busy tour schedule with Kenny Rogers, Chuck &
Randy also pursue their love of jazz by performing with Dan at
numerous concerts throughout the country. Dan has also performed
many times live in concert with the Kenny Rogers show.
The combined artists they have performed with reads like a who's who
of the entertainment industry, including: Kenny Rogers, Lionel
Richie, Kim Carnes, Kenny Loggins, Willie Nelson, Michael McDonald,
